Abstract
Down a cramped, bumpy street with black pavement stands an ominous bureaucratic building. Temporary scaffolding one story above street level surrounds the entire structure. Next to it is an abandoned building on which is posted a skull and crossbones sign that reads, in bold red letters, “WARNING: KEEP OUT, BAITED AREA.” To the right of that is the exit of a carwash. The ground is always slippery, and the concrete looks particularly dark because of puddles made by the dripping cars.
