Abstract
Recently, I was again confronted with evidence that people construct meaning in very different ways. I was chatting with a colleague after a hard day. She was ruminating about her move to a new office in another part of the university. This colleague found herself in the unenviable position of having to share an office; but true to form, she was willing to make the best of it.
