Abstract
With the help of numerical experiments we investigate the dynamics of orbits of minor planets in the vicinity of some selected mixed resonances “Jupiter—Saturn—Asteroid”. We analyze the behaviour of Lyapunov—Exponent as a function of eccentricity and inclination of asteroid orbits in domains of mixed resonances considered and investigate, under what conditions the mixed resonances can be responsible for the origin of chaos in motion of minor planets. Some preliminary results of our numerical experiments are presented.
