Abstract
Cultural landscapes have inscribed in themselves the evolution of the relationship between man and nature through generations. Seriously threatened, they are like a live archive where one learns about the variety of ways how to manage the natural resources whether water and soil conservation or the enhancement of biological diversity and aesthetic quality.
