Abstract
Abstract The paper presents an implementation of an hp-adaptive BEM for exterior scattering problems motivated with the modeling of human auditory system acoustics. We focus on two practical issues connected with the hp discretizations: geometry representation, and numerical integration of ‘almost singular’ functions. Numerical examples illustrate the discussed implementation issues.
