Abstract
My thirty-one years in the newspaper business have been capped by service since 1979 with Knight-Ridder. The company now has twenty-nine newspapers around the United States, but the fastest growing part of our business is the distribution of information electronically on-line to 130 countries. In this work I have been reminded repeatedly of how interdependent we have become around the world, not just in business but in many other areas as well.
