Abstract
The Applicant, a German citizen born in 1930 and resident in Berlin, has been represented before the Commission by Mr. Hasso Fügart, a lawyer practising in Berlin; legal aid has been granted for his representation in accordance with the Addendum of the Commission’s Rules of Procedure. When lodging the present Application, the Applicant was serving a sentence of penal servitude in Tegel prison in Berlin.

Le requérant, ressortissant allemand né en 1930 et résidant à Berlin, a été représenté devant la Commission par Me Hasso Fügart, avocat inscrit au barreau de Berlin; l’assistance judiciaire lui a été accordée conformément à l’Addendum du Règlement Intérieur de la Commission. Au moment où il introduisit la présente requête, le requérant purgeait une condamnation à la réclusion à la prison de Tegel à Berlin.
