Abstract

In the course of lectures and talks, conferences and training sessions one often sees slides, the design and arrangement of which is displeasing. Overcrowded and confusing pictures, illegible lettering, unclear drawings — these are just some of the faults with which such slides are afflicted. The production of well composed slides from both optical and teaching points of view is really no more difficult: at most it calls for a certain amount of thought and the observance of a few simple principles.
