Abstract

In the present Chapter we shall consider an example of a rigorous derivation of the kinetic equation, namely, the Boltzmann equation for a hard sphere particle system. The problem of the derivation of kinetic equations is treated in this Chapter as the construction of the relevant asymptotics of the solution to the initial value problem of the BBGKY hierarchy.
