Contribution to the Analytical Study of Biomass Pyrolysis Oils

  • Chapter
Biomass Pyrolysis Liquids Upgrading and Utilization

Abstract

Biomass pyrolysis oils contain a very wide range of complex organic chemicals. Analytical techniques are steadily developing and permit increasingly accurate and detailed characterization of the constituents of pyrolysis products. Previously identified chemicals are listed and recent advances in analytical techniques are reviewed.
