Abstract
Considerable work has been carried out on pyrolysis technologies, product upgrading technologies and biomass production technologies, but little attention has been paid to the interaction of these areas or their integration into a viable and efficient liquid fuel production process. This paper describes some of the interactions and optimisation exercises necessary for successful implementation.
