Abstract

To sustain the ongoing organizational development associated with ‘improvement through teamwork’ (Chapters 4 and 5) the improvement teams established need to be provided with appropriate tools. Nothing is more disheartening to an enthusiastic group of employees working on quality improvement than to have an inadequate approach with which to tackle the problem.
