Occupational Strain and Efficacy: Costs, Theory, and Intervention

  • Chapter
Occupational Strain and Efficacy in Human Service Workers

Abstract

For the worker, increased psychological distress, job dissatisfaction, and increased symptoms of burnout and physical illness, can result from exposure to hazardous psychosocial work conditions.
