Abstract
Soyabean is an introduced legume in Pakistan. Cross inoculant group (Rhizobium japonicum) of this crop is absent in our soils and it is possible to use non-inoculated soyabean as non fixing control plant. Glycine max (var. Davis) was grown in plots in summer 1982. Three treatments No Io, N +Io and No I+) were used at two fertility levels (F = Farmer level and M = Maximal level) with four replicates.
