Dans le cadre des examens non destructifs la radiographie aux neutrons est très performante en tant que technique d’examens sur des combustibles irradiés.
Une installation de neutronographie a donc été développée auprès du réacteur SCARABEE dans le but d’examiner des combustibles irradiés fortement dégradés provenant d’essais de sûreté, réalisés sur les installations avoisinantes: SCARABEE, CABRI et PHEBUS.
