Samenvatting

In dit hoofdstuk wordt een overzicht gegeven van diverse psychosociale aspecten van het leven van mannen met prostaatcarcinoom. Aandacht voor deze psychosociale problemen is van belang omdat mannen met prostaatcarcinoom niet alleen een ziekte hebben die wordt behandeld, maar vaak psychische en sociale problemen krijgen als gevolg van prostaatcarcinoom en de behandeling daarvan.
