Riassunto
Dal punto di vista funzionale 1’apparato genitourinario consta di due componenti: l’apparato genitale e quello urinario. Entrambi gli apparati si sviluppano da una porzione del mesoderma intermedio che prende il nome di cresta urogenitale e che si sviluppa ai lati dell’aorta dorsale, lungo la parete dorsale del corpo dell’embrione.
