Abstract
The diagnosis of gastro-intestinal disease by ultrasonography has been considered to be difficult because of the presence of digestive tract gas and has therefore been used only in selective cases. However, with improvements in equipment and techniques, it can also be used in the diagnosis of gastro-intestinal disease. In recent years there have been increasing reports of aniaskiasis, but most of these are of the gastric type with few reports on intestinal anisakiasis. In this article ultrasonography of intestinal anisakiasis is described.
