Abstract
The Liver Cancer Study Group of Japan has collected enormous amounts of data from more than 30,000 cases of primary liver cancer throughout the country since 1965. The data includes epidemiology, past medical history, diagnostics, pathology, surgical treatment, and so on. Here, the characteristics and the changing trends with regard to HCC in Japan will be demonstrated.
