Zusammenfassung

Wohl alle Praktikerinnen und Praktiker1 im Strafvollzug kennen sie: Die Gefangenen, die man nur schwer „erreicht“, die sich nicht verändern wollen und/oder können. Viele Straftäter weisen nur einen geringen „Leidensdruck“ hinsichtlich ihrer Straftaten auf; sie verarbeiten die Straftaten „ichsynton“ und denken im Allgemeinen recht wenig über das Unrecht nach, das sie anderen angetan haben. Sie weisen eine geringe Verantwortungsbereitschaft auf, die in ihrem dissozialen Verhalten zum Ausdruck kommt, aber sie wollen sich nicht damit auseinandersetzen. Einige von ihnen verweigern die Teilnahme an Behandlungsmaßnahmen, andere kommen zwar, aber sitzen mit verschränkten Armen und regungslos in der Gruppe, erledigen die Aufgaben zwischen den Sitzungen nicht oder bringen ständig ihre Zweifel an der Relevanz oder dem Wert der Maßnahmen (und eventuell auch des Personals) zum Ausdruck. Manche betätigen sich in der Subkultur, die antitherapeutische Einstellungen pflegt, eher auf „Härte“ setzt und keine „Weichheit“ (im Sinne von Offenheit, Demut, Selbstzweifel) duldet, die für persönliche Veränderung oftmals notwendig ist. Wieder andere Gefangene leugnen ihre Taten, bagatellisieren und rechtfertigen sie unangemessen oder streiten wichtige Details ab.
