Zusammenfassung
Üblicherweise wird die Fallstudienforschung dem sogenannten qualitativen Forschungsparadigma zugeordnet (vgl. zur Diskussion der zentralen Paradigmen in der Marketingwissenschaft Dyllick/Tomczak 2007, S. 73 ff.). Dagegen liegen dem sogenannten quantitativen Paradigma vor allem positivistische Positionen zugrunde, die sich am Argumentationsmuster des kritischen Rationalismus bzw. des wissenschaftlichen Realismus orientieren.
