Abstract
Seit Beginn des 21. Jahrhunderts hat sich das CSR‐Konzept im Sinne einer nicht uneigennützigen, freiwilligen gesellschaftlichen Verantwortungsübernahme in der wirtschaftlichen Praxis Europas etabliert. So betonen zahlreiche Unternehmen die Bedeutung gesellschaftlicher Verantwortung und zeigen verstärktes gesellschaftliches Engagement nach außen. Dennoch lässt sich feststellen, dass das CSR‐Konzept in der Praxis noch unsystematisch angewendet wird und ein entsprechendes CSR‐Management wenig ausgeprägt ist.
