Zusammenfassung
Die Industrie verfolgt heute intensiv die Realisierung durchgängiger CAE-Ketten und ist immer mehr daran interessiert, auch Optimierungsmodule (opti SLANG, TOSCA, CAOSS etc.) in FE-Programmen verfügbar zu haben. Viele Bemühungen in dieser Richtung sind in der Vergangenheit daran gescheitert, dass die mit einer Optimierung von FE-Modellen verbundene große Rechen-und Speicherkapazität nicht kostengünstig verfügbar war. Dies hat sich in den letzten Jahren dramatisch geändert, denn moderne Workstations und PCs überschreiten mittlerweile das Leistungsniveau älterer Großrechner. Eine zielgerichtete Bauteiloptimierung ist damit praktizierbar geworden.
