Abstract
Let us apply to a body the loadings, increasing them slowly from zero to their final values. The heat content changes together with the deformation. Consequently, the field of temperature in the body also changes. We assume that in the course of deformation there exists a permanent heat exchange with the environment of the body, and, therefore, the process can be regarded to be isothermal.
