Die Gruppe Bull, Paris, hat sich 1994 entschieden, die ORACLE Applications europaweit nach einheitlichen Grundsätzen schrittweise einzuführen und dabei mit dem General Ledger Modul (GL) zu beginnen. In diesem Beitrag werden Form, Inhalt und Funktion der Kontierungsleiste beschrieben, die im GL-Modul eine große Bedeutung besitzt. Die Kontierungsleiste repräsentiert nämlich die Dimensionen des Rechnungswesens eines Anwenders.
