Zusammenfassung
In vielen Unternehmen, speziell bei Finanzdienstleistern, hat sich die Erkenntnis durchgesetzt, dass nur radikale Kundenorientierung einen langfristigen strategischen Vorteil bedeutet. Mit dieser Erkenntnis einher geht ein organisatorischer Umbau von produktorientierten Unternehmen hin zu kundenfokussierten Unternehmen. Die Konzentration der Kernkompetenzen erfolgt dabei nicht mehr anhand des Produktpotfolios, sondern anhand des profitabelsten Kundenportfolios. Die Zusammenlegung des Zahlungsverkehrs von Dresdner Bank und Postbankl zeigt diese Tendenz exemplarisch.
