Zusammenfassung
Die marktwirtschaftliche Ordnung ist durch Wettbewerb geprägt, der in den konsumnahen Bereichen ohne Markenartikel nicht auskommt. Marken sind heute breit vertreten — vom Fast Moving Consumer Good bis hin zur Dienstleistungsmarke, von der allgegenwärtigen Marke im Food-Bereich bis hin zu markierten Investitionsgüterangeboten. Eigenprodukte des Handels treten hinzu und versuchen, vom Erfolg der Marke zu profitieren. Finanzdienstleister, Medien und viele andere Angebote kommen heute ohne die Instrumente der Markenführung nicht mehr aus.
