Lungenhochdruck (pulmonale Hypertonie, PH) beschreibt einen Druck- und/oder Widerstandsanstieg im kleinen Kreislauf (◘ Abb. 5.1), der als primäre Lungengefäßerkrankung auftreten kann (◘ Abb. 5.1a und d) oder im Kontext verschiedener Herz- (◘ Abb. 5.1c), Lungen- (◘ Abb. 5.1d) oder Systemerkrankungen (◘ Abb. 5.1f).
