Zusammenfassung

Familientherapie von Essstörungen, insbesondere der Anorexia nervosa (AN), wird seit fast einem halben Jahrhundert durchgeführt. Die Interventionen waren in verschiedene familientherapeutische Schulen eingebettet. Zu erwähnen sind hierbei Minuchins Strukturansatz (Minuchin et al. 1975), die strategische Familientherapie (Madanes 1981), der systemische Ansatz der Mailänder Schule (Palazzoli 1974) und neuere narrative Anwendungen (Epston et al. 1995), die Familientherapie für Anorexia nervosa (FT-AN) (Eisler et al. 2016), die systemische Familientherapie (SFT) (Agras et al. 2014), die Mehrfamilien-Gruppentherapie (Eisler 2005; Eisler et al. 2016) und elternfokussierte Familientherapie (z. B. getrennte Familientherapie und elternfokussierte Therapie [PFT]) (Eisler et al. 2000; Le Grange et al. 1992, 2016), des Weiteren die Behandlungsform des Home treatment (Herpertz-Dahlmann et al. 2014). Der familientherapeutische Ansatz sieht Eltern als zentralen Einflussfaktor, daher sollen diese in die Behandlung mit einbezogen werden (Murray und Le Grange 2014).
