Zusammenfassung
Harnwegsinfektionen zählen zu den häufigsten bakteriellen Infektionen und werden in vielen Disziplinen therapiert. (Fachinforamtion Ceftriaxon) Bei inadäquater Therapie sind schwere Verläufe möglich. Es ist deswegen von herausragender Wichtigkeit, eine effektive empirische antibiotische Therapie einzuleiten, die sich v. a. nach dem zugrunde liegenden Erreger und dessen Antibiotikaempfindlichkeit richtet.
