Zusammenfassung

Windkraftanlagen (WKA) machen die in den strömenden Luftmassen enthaltene Bewegungsenergie technisch nutzbar. Die dieser Wandlung der kinetischen in mechanische Energie zugrundeliegenden physikalischen Zusammenhänge werden im Folgenden dargestellt. Nicht behandelt werden die Grundlagen der Windenergienutzung, wie sie z.B. bei Segelbooten oder Drachen realisiert wird.
