Zusammenfassung
Dieses Kapitel erläutert die Aufgaben und Ziele des IT-Service-Managements sowie das Referenzmodell ITIL. Außerdem wird der Begriff DevOps im Zusammenhang mit Microservices und der Cloud erklärt. Es wird gezeigt, wie durch Service Analytics aus großen Datenmengen (Big Data) Informationen gewonnen werden, um bei der Steuerung des Geschäftsfeldes bessere Entscheidungen treffen zu können und wie durch Strategien die Nachfrage nach Dienstleistungen sowie die verfügbaren Kapazitäten möglichst optimal im Rahmen des Kapazitätsmanagements aufeinander abgestimmt werden können.
