Zusammenfassung
Die kollaborative Wirtschaft beschreibt eine Verschiebung von hierarchischen zu gleichberechtigten bzw. partizipativen Strukturen von Produktion und Konsum in horizontalen Netzwerken. Im Mittelpunkt stehen verteilte Machtverhältnisse und Vertrauen innerhalb der Gemeinschaft, die sich von zentralisierten Institutionen abheben. Auch werden die Grenzen zwischen Produzenten und Konsumenten aufgelöst.
