Zusammenfassung

In diesem Kapitel werden verschiedene kognitiv-behaviorale Therapieansätze ausführlich dargestellt, die Reihenfolge leitet sich historisch ab. So wird zunächst eine rückversicherungsgebende Behandlung vorgestellt. Es folgt ein schwerpunktmäßig psychoedukativer Ansatz, bevor dann die kognitive Verhaltenstherapie mit ihrer ganzen Bandbreite der Methoden dargestellt wird. Hier ist der Bezug zum vorliegenden Behandlungsmanual am größten. Zudem wird auf eine neuere Entwicklung, der Mindfulness-Based Cognitive Therapy sowie der Acceptance-and-Commitment-Therapie, eingegangen. Abschließend werden die empirischen Befunde zur Wirksamkeit kognitiver Verhaltenstherapie bei Hypochondrie im Einzel- und Gruppensetting aufgeführt.
