Zusammenfassung
Halogenalkane sind Alkane, die ein oder mehrere Halogenatome (F, Cl, Br, I) tragen. Sie dienen als Ausgangsstoffe für viele Synthesen, da sie über nucleophile Substitutionen und Eliminierungen in eine Vielzahl anderer Verbindungen umgewandelt werden können. Die Herstellung der Halogenalkane erfolgt typischerweise über die radikalische Substitution von Alkanen, über Addition an C–C‐Doppelbindungen oder aus Alkoholen.
