Zusammenfassung

Bei der Behandlung eines erwachsenen Notfallpatienten mit Apnoe ist zunächst kein differenziertes Beatmungskonzept erforderlich. Vielmehr sollte eine Beatmungsform gewählt werden, die der Anwender sicher beherrscht, die eine ausreichende Oxygenierung und Ventilation des Patienten sicherstellt und keine unmittelbaren Schäden durch die Beatmung hervorruft. Nach erster Sichtung des Patienten und Behandlung der vordringlichen Probleme kann dann eine individualisierte Beatmungstherapie erfolgen.
