Zusammenfassung
In früheren Kapiteln zur Stoffwechselphysiologie standen die assimilatorischen und die dissimilatorischen Reaktionsbahnen des Stoffwechsels im Vordergrund. Dieser Bereich wird auch mit dem Begriff Energiestoffwechsel gekennzeichnet. Daneben umfasst das Stoffwechselgeschehen eine riesige Fülle synthetischer Prozesse, welche hier nur an einigen Beispielen behandelt werden können. Nicht nur die wachsende Pflanze muss beständig eine Vielzahl organischer Verbindungen neu aufbauen.
