Zusammenfassung
In den meisten Anwendungen der Thermodynamik treten keine reinen Stoffe auf, sondern Gemische aus mehreren Stoffen. Dies ist zum einen in der Verfahrenstechnik der Fall, wo beispielsweise die Zerlegung von Gemischen in ihre reinen Komponenten eine große Rolle spielt. Zum anderen ist es die Natur selbst, in welcher eine nennenswerte Menge eines Reinstoffes eine absolute Ausnahme darstellt.
