Zusammenfassung
Die Optionen der antimikrobiellen Therapie der ambulant erworbenen Pneumonie sind beschränkt auf wenige Substanzklassen; zu diesen gehören ß-Laktame (Penicilline, Cephalosporine und Carbapeneme) einschließlich Kombinationen mit ß-Laktamasehemmern, Makrolide, Tetracycline (Doxyccylin), Fluorchinolone, Lincosamide (Clindamycin) und Neuraminidasehemmer (Oseltamivir).
Alle Substanzklassen zeichnen sich durch eine insgesamt gute Verträglichkeit ab; dennoch bestehen potentielle Toxizitäten sowie einige Interaktionen und (überwiegend relative) Kontraindikationen, die beachtet werden müssen. Ihre Kenntnis ist von Bedeutung sowohl für die Beratung des Patienten als auch für die Früherkennung von Toxizitäten.
