Zusammenfassung
Infektionen mit Influenzaviren treten jährlich bevorzugt in den Wintermonaten auf. Sie werden indirekt und direkt durch Kontaktinfektion übertragen und verursachen die echte Virusgrippe (Influenza). Infektionen in der zweiten Schwangerschaftshälfte haben eine erhöhte Komplikationsrate. Eine Schutzimpfung ist verfügbar, sie wird in der Schwangerschaft empfohlen. Auch bei Frühgeborenen und Neugeborenen sowie bei Kleinkindern im Alter von unter 6 Monaten hat die Influenza eine erhöhte Komplikationsrate. Die Diagnose wird durch den molekularbiologischen Nachweis aus Rachen- oder Nasenabstrich oder respiratorischem Sekret gestellt. Bei Erkrankungsverdacht wird eine Labordiagnostik empfohlen. Treten in der Umgebung gehäuft Fälle auf oder wurde bei einer Kontaktperson eine Influenza diagnostiziert, kann auf eine Labordiagnostik verzichtet werden. Bei gesicherter Exposition kann eine antivirale Prophylaxe erwogen werden.
