Zusammenfassung
Die Erkennung der akuten oder chronischen HBV-Infektion in der Schwangerschaft ist von besonderer Bedeutung, da prä- oder perinatal übertragene Infektionen häufig einen chronischen Verlauf mit einem stark erhöhten Risiko für ein primäres Leberzellkarzinom nehmen. Durch gezielte Interventionen (kombinierte aktiv-passive Immunisierung des Neugeborenen sowie ggf. antivirale Therapie während der Schwangerschaft) kann die vertikale HBV-Transmission fast immer verhindert werden.
