Abstract
Radiation-convection type of drying experiments have been carried out for wetted layer of SiC fine powder. riation of the appearance 6f surface in the cource of drying was observed with the naked eye, and the coagulation characteristics of the particles on the surface of dried product (including freeze-dried one) have been observed by scanning electron microscope. On the basis of observation, the effects of drying condition on drying characteristics and structure of dried product were examined.
