Zusammenfassung

Parisien u. Vangsness berichteten 1985 erstmals über die Arthroskopie des subtalaren Gelenkes. Sie inspizierten den hinteren Gelenkanteil und empfahlen einen posterolateralen Zugang. Der größte Teil der hinteren Gelenkfläche des Kalkaneus sowie die synoviale Auskleidung konnten beurteilt werden. Bereits 3 Jahre später beschrieb Parisien erste Ergebnisse arthroskopischer Operationen am unteren Sprunggelenk.
