Abstract
A classification helps to identify concepts and functionality. Similarly, a classification of integration helps us to understand the difference between the integration concepts followed in this book and other integration approaches or integration problems. A classification can be driven to an extreme very easily by trying to be complete in all details that can be distinguished. In the following this is not done for the sake of clarity; instead, a more pragmatic approach is followed. Only the most important classes are discussed that allow us to classify the integration concepts followed in this book and distinguish it from other approaches.
