Abstract
In subcellular biochemistry, biomembrane structure and dynamics are widely investigated with fluorescent probes [366]. Many probes sensitive to pH, polarity, calcium, electric potential, etc. are described in the handbook of fluorescent probes [367]. The spectroscopic properties of some widely used fluorescent probes are shown in Fig. 15.1.
