Reorganizing the Product and Process Development of an Italian Car Manufacturer

  • Chapter
New Product Development and Production Networks

Abstract

The crisis of the early 1990s, one of the most severe in the history of the automobile industry, has shown that most European car-makers are highly adaptable, able to respond to turbulence, and capable of prompt and far-reaching strategic and organizational change.
