Zusammenfassung
Für das Mathematiklernen ist der Aufbau von sogenannten Grundvorstellungen zentral. So zählen in der Grundschule unzureichende Operationsvorstellungen zu den gravierenden Schwierigkeiten beim Rechnenlernen. Auch in der Sekundarstufe gründen viele Probleme beim Mathematiklernen in Grundvorstellungsdefiziten. Da Grundvorstellungen von ähnlicher Natur wie konzeptuelle Metaphern sind, eignet sich die systematische Metaphernanalyse zu deren Rekonstruktion. Dabei erweist sich die Idee mathematischer Grundmetaphern als hilfreich. So lassen sich anhand entsprechender Analysen die mit konzeptuellen Metaphern korrespondierenden Grundvorstellungen in Schüler*innenäußerungen erkunden.
