Politisches Handeln steht in unmittelbarem Zusammenhang mit Sprache. Sprache ist sowohl Werkzeug als auch Gegenstand von Politik. Bereits die antiken Klassiker waren sich der besonderen Rolle von Sprache in der Politik bewusst und haben sich mit der politischen Rhetorik, mit politischen Reden, auseinandergesetzt.
