Zusammenfassung
Die physikalischen Eigenschaften der Luft modifizieren die Schallgeschwindigkeit in Abhängigkeit von Temperatur und Strömungsverhältnissen. Es wurde eine akustische Methode, die ursprünglich für meteorologische Anwendungen zur Messung der Lufttemperatur bzw. der Windgeschwindigkeit entwickelt wurde, für die Anwendung klimatischer Fragestellungen in Innenräumen beliebiger Größe modifiziert. Eine Kombination von mehreren Schallgeschwindigkeitsmesstrecken, die flächenhaft oder räumlich angeordnet werden, ermöglicht es, auf diese Weise die sich über die Zeit hinweg ändernden Schallgeschwindigkeitsfelder aufzuzeichnen.
