Zusammenfassung
Zu den „Rechten anderer“, die die Freiheit der Berichterstattung in den Massenmedien begrenzen, gehört neben dem Ehrenschutz ganz zentral das „allgemeine Persönlichkeitsrecht“. Es gewährt dem einzelnen Mitmenschen das Recht, sein Leben gegen den Einblick der Öffentlichkeit abzuschirmen. Jeder hat einen Anspruch darauf, selbst darüber entscheiden zu können, welche Informationen über sein Leben er preisgeben will, und im Übrigen von den Massenmedien in Ruhe gelassen zu werden.
